How do you stop blinking/squinting when putting in or taking out contacts? It's hard to take the contacts out when the reflexes shut my eyes immediately when my fingers get near the eye. Any eye relaxing technique would be greatly appropriated!

Doc, i experienced left eye pain, nausea and vomiting (feels like my eye is coming out) last year but it went away after a rest. Went to an ophthalmologist the next day but he didn't tell me what it is, he just prescribes an eyewear, should i go to another ophthalmologist? It happened again last march, can they'll able to detect if i have glaucoma even tho i dont feel those symptoms again?

The NIMH actually says that tea tree oil is the only thing that will kill off demodex. That's not exactly true, but it is the only natural remedy. There's also a weekly treatment with tea tree oil at 50% to drive them from the follicles, which is very effective. iMed makes medicated eye wipes, similar to the spray. Boric acid in eye drops is also effective. Metronidazole is effective at knocking the population down and at reducing chalazions. I wish more doctors would address demodex on the whole, it's a highly contagious condition that can have some pretty severe outcomes left untreated. People who have autoimmune conditions are highly susceptible to demodex over population. Like lice, demodex will morph from folliculorum to brevis, given enough time.

Jeg har brukt Blephademodex servietter. Vasket ansikt og øye med Dr.Bronners tea tree soap. Skiftet sengetøy hver dag. Brukt kun papir tørkerull til å tørke ansikt med. Kuttet øye makeup for nesten 4 måneder. Brukte salve med ivemectrin for hele ansikt.

I had acute closed angle glaucoma in both eyes. It was painful. My eyes were red and watery. I had a headache but I did not realize it was an emergency. I waited 3 days. The only reason I went to the doctor was I couldn’t see my computer at work. The eye doctor sent me straight to the eye surgeon. I had surgery on my right eye that day and surgery on my left eye the next. It significantly damaged my sight.

I've had the nightmare where i had my face removed and someone else face stitched to mine. I don't want to wake up seeing my face being someone elses, especially dead peoples.

Now I know what I had back in the early 70s when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade! My mom brought me to the doctor and he gave me a salve that looked like Vaseline and it went away. It was in a tiny little tube and I’ve never had it since! Always wondered what that was!

I get monocular vertical diplopia in both eyes. Reading my phone makes it worsen and tends to last for hours. Object close are overlapping and objects far away are aligned perfectly over each other. Had my eyes checked by an eye surgeon no issues found, tried eye drops no difference. Eye live with it as it fades away over time, but not completely. Sometimes it is hard to read with overlapping letters of the same line of text. I don't wear glasses as I can see an eye chart ok, just the E, F and T are hard to define when they vertically overlap. Funny that it happens in both eyes and when I close either one.

I wash my eyes with J and J baby shampoo, it works

Hello. Thank you for your videos on dry eye. I have a unique issue as I have Sjögren's syndrome which is complicating my eye issues and I keep having chalazions or Hordeolum. I am doing all the things you are recommending and I have always had a great diet with lots of fish and vegetables. And my blood levels show very very low inflammation in the body. I do however have very low IgA which I believe is the issue. Any suggestions for Chalazion/hordeolum? You speak of styes but would your suggestions for my issues be the same?

Can it also be in our eyebrows or is that something else?
